BARBELLIA ("we", "our", "the app") is an AI fitness coaching app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights. By using BARBELLIA you agree to this policy.
Account: email address and password (passwords are stored hashed by our authentication provider, never in plain text).
Profile & calibration: callsign, name, age, gender, height, bodyweight, training goal, experience, equipment, injuries, diet preference and your entered strength numbers.
Training data: generated programs, logged sets, weights, reps, RPE, personal records and strength history.
Nutrition & recovery: food you log, calories/macros, and — for ELITE members — sleep hours/quality and recovery/biometric readings (readiness, resting heart rate, HRV, strain) entered manually or synced from a connected wearable.
Location: if you enable it, approximate location to power the Radar map, nearby-gym and nearby-athlete discovery. You can disable location sharing at any time.
Social & media: posts, comments, stories, direct messages, connections, and photos/videos you choose to upload.
To create and adapt your training programs and nutrition targets, calculate recovery-based recalibration, power social and map features, operate your account, and improve the app. We do not sell your personal data.
Data is stored securely with our backend provider Supabase (Postgres, authentication and storage) on our behalf, protected by row-level security so you can only access your own data. Media is stored in access-controlled buckets.
We use Supabase (backend/auth/storage) and OpenStreetMap tiles (map display). If you connect a wearable/health platform (e.g. Health Connect, Apple Health, WHOOP, Garmin, Fitbit, Oura, Polar, COROS), we read only the recovery and sleep metrics needed for the recovery engine, with your permission, and you can disconnect at any time.
We keep your data while your account is active. You may request export or permanent deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us; we action deletion requests promptly.
You can access, correct, or delete your data, withdraw location/wearable permissions, and object to processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
BARBELLIA is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We use encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, and row-level access controls. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected here with a new date.
